Savages Massacre Virginia Colonists
Savages from the Powhatan tribe killed 347 residents of Virginia colony, yesterday. According to eye witness John Smith, the savages "came unarmed into our houses with deer, turkey, fish, fruits, and other provisions to sell us." The savages then grabbed whatever tools they could find and turned on the colonists, killing anyone in sight. The surprise attack gave way to a series of attacks, co-ordinated by Powhatan Cheif Openchancanough. The Virginia Company offers its prayers and consolations to the families of those killed in these barbaric attacks. According to Company officials, a revenge attack is planned, so that they may bring these savages to justice.
